Events
An event at Chocka Yoga is a one-off on a particular date, rather than something that runs week after week.
What an event is
A single occasion on a set date — a workshop, a retreat, a one-off session. It happens once, so there’s no series to keep up with and nothing recurring to commit to. You’ll find events on the events page and on the schedule alongside everything else.
Booking a paid one
Exactly like any other booking: press Book, pay, and your place is confirmed once the payment goes through. Places are re-checked as you pay, so an event is never overbooked. If the last place happens to go while you’re paying, your payment is refunded by Chocka Yoga — see Booking.
Free places and RSVPs
Some events are free. Press Book and the total reads Free — no payment, no card details. You can add anyone else you are booking for on the same screen. Chocka Yoga sees the names on their list for the day.
Adding a koha
On a free event, Chocka Yoga may invite a koha — an optional contribution you can add when you book. It is entirely up to you. It makes no difference to whether you get a place, and it buys nothing: no credit, no priority, no entitlement. You can pick one of the suggested amounts, enter your own, or skip it and book for free.
If it's full
Join the waitlist and you’ll be offered a place automatically if one frees up — how waitlists work.
Changing your mind
Cancel from your Bookings tab the same way as any booking, within Chocka Yoga’s cancellation window — see Booking for how that works. A koha you added is a gift rather than a fee, so ask Chocka Yoga if you need it back.
Koha is always optional and never affects your place.
